The headquarters of Bolli&Romiti at Palazzo Cenci is located within a historic architectural complex built on a hill known as Monte Cenci, atop the ruins of the Cornelius Balbus Theatre.
The buildings were constructed over the centuries; as early as the 13th century, the Cenci family—believed to be descendants of the ancient Roman gens Cincia—already owned a balneum (a kind of thermal bath) and a tower.
The palazzo took on its current form between 1570 and 1585, becoming a true fortress overlooking the surrounding area, complete with residential buildings, churches, arches, barriers, and a tower (later demolished in 1888).
